The Thing I've Been Building All Along Was Me
For years, I thought I was building businesses. It turns out I was building something far more valuable.
For years, I thought I was building businesses.
Fitness businesses. Creative spaces. Event companies. Studios. Rental fleets.
I was measuring progress in revenue, headcount and square footage.
It turns out, I was building something far more valuable.
I was building experience. Perspective. Resilience. A way of thinking that no qualification could ever teach.
Every business I built changed me.
Every failure gave me something a success never could.
Every difficult season taught me how to stay in the room when everything inside me wanted to leave.
The thing I've been building all along was me.
And that, I've come to realise, is the most important foundation of all.
